Rendezvous Parade

the second weekend in July is Rendezvous in Pinedale, WY.  Rendezvous is a celebration of the mountain man heritage when once a year the mountain men would come together with each other and even the native americans to trade their furs, beads, whiskey, etc.  These gatherings would took place in the Pinedale and surrounding areas.  The modern era sees a parade, rodeos, a pageant, and more of a carnival atmosphere with booths, funnel cakes, etc.  Wyatt loves this, and it wears him out quit a bit.  Lots of candy from the parade, cotton candy, a funnel cake, and people dressed up like Lewis & Clark!  I like it a little better than Cindy does, but the Peters family enjoys the outing... and temporary change to our little town.
